This was our first cruise. Now that I have been on two others since, I feel that now is the time to post a review. I decided on this cruise due to price. I had never been on a cruise before and my husband suggested that while we were on our Miami vacation, look for a quick cruise so we could see if we like it. He sure wasn't expecting for me to book a 10 night! I did not know what I was booking, so I booked an interior guarantee. As seasoned cruisers would expect, we were in the basement. Yet, I must admit, it was a large room! Once we made friends and saw their ocean view...we were glad we had a coffin, uh, I mean interior. Not only that, but our room Stewert, Eli, was AMAZING! I did not expect to have a butler cater to us and our every need! As well as our waitress-don't remember her name- but was also very nice. That's the good.

Now the bad and the ugly.

The rest of the crew that we encountered that was not service oriented was rude. Especially if you were not European. We English speaking folk were the minority. And we were treated as such. To be treated as if we were beneath the crew by the crew was more then I could handle. Here is my favorite part. Early one morning when I first woke up, I needed something from the shop. Without make up and hair in pony tail, I picked out what I needed and went to the cashier. He slide my card, looked at my picture then at me and told me to not leave the room without make up on again. He also verbalized that I should NEVER let my husband see me without makeup. I cried for the rest of the day. Not only that, but it is now 15 months later and I have still not left my house without make up. This man did something so horrible to my self confidence that I can't even describe it. Never in my 45 years of life have I ever been insulted so badly, especially by a stranger. I did complain about it so the service desk-my husband said if I didn't, he was going to say something to the man, which I did not want him to do because he was mad. They basically told me that they don't care and what do I want them to do about it.
