I am a big time review reader person, but think that's about to change. I was worried about the negative reviews before cruising. We went during Spring Break week and the ship was FULLY SOLD OUT. While the embarkation was a bit slow (there were 5 ships sailing that day), everything else was spot on awesome! The ship decor is miles above the others cheesy Vegas style. The ship has a nice new Caribbean feel and we had 2 adults and 3 children in an interior room that never felt clustered. The aft layout of the ship getting from the lower decks to the mid dining area was a little off, but nothing to be a downer about. If you have children THIS SHIP IS FOR YOU! The waterworks slides and ropes course kept my son busy and having fun the entire sea day. I was super worried about not finding oceanside loungers for the sea day, but there were ample amounts open ALL day long with a full ship. This was our children's 1st cruise ages 14, 10, & 5 and they honestly had a blast! We were hesitant about Camp Carnival because we are super protective, but when we went and checked it out all fears were put to rest. The kid's crew is absolutely wonderful and really look out for the kids. My 5 year old had her face painted, made t-shirts, build-a-bear, themed parties, ext..it was awesome! The food was decent. We only ate in the MDR for the Captain's dinner. All the waitstaff and our room steward were very attentive and cheery. The Serenity Deck is awesome. Yes you can hear the music from the lido if you stay in the pool/spa area of the Serenity Deck, but if you go up and to the back it's peaceful sailing. Save your money on the fruity frozen drinks. I watched the bartenders literally pour 1 shot into the blender and then load it with ice and mixer and half of the mixture makes it into your glass leaving it more like a virgin. The martini bar was where it was at. The entertainment was awesome and the comedian was HILARIOUS!

Now about the Bahamas...I cannot think of any reasons why they get such a bad rap! We went to Nassau, Half Moon Cay, and Freeport(Port Lucaya) and at the end of our cruise couldn't decide what was the best part because every stop was just excellent! The Atlantis half day and lunch excursion was so cool! We spent about an hour touring the hotel, dig, and aquarium and the rest of the day between the real and man made beach. Absolutely gorgeous! Half Moon Cay was again gorgeous and relaxing, Port Lucaya we went to the free beach and took an hour long banana boat ride by Ocean Motion excursions 5 ppl for $125 and it was a major highlight of our trip!

Overall, a cruise is what you make it, but this was definitely NOT hard to enjoy every single minute!! Can't wait to go again. :)

We had 2 adults and 3 children in our room and the layout was perfect! Never had any issues with noise or motion whatsoever. Yasa our room steward knew all our names by day 1 and was excellent!
