This was my fifth cruise, my husband's 4th and my 6 year old daughter's 2nd. We all agreed that it was our favorite so far. We traveled from within Florida but opted to book a room the night before. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Boca Raton. It was very roomy, offered complimentary happy hour and a full free breakfast. We left the hotel and arrived at port within 40 minutes.

We have always done 4 or less nights so this was our first longer cruise experience and the largest ship we have sailed on. We did expect embarkation to be a little slower than we were used to but it was fairly well managed and moved at a consistent pace. First day is always our favorite and this was no different. We were sitting by the pool with cocktails and Guy Fieri burgers within an hour. Our room and luggage was ready right on time. There were plenty of Spring Breakers, including college aged and families. It was a great mix of all ages and I never felt like anyone got out of line or too rowdy.

The activities were plentiful and well scheduled. There was an abundance of karaoke opportunities and my little rock star in the making enjoyed getting into the action. We also enjoyed the shows, trivia and pool parties - a little bit for everyone. With the size of the ship, we could easily separate for a quiet reading spot or get right in the middle of the action. Our MOST favorite place on the ship was the Alchemy Bar - WOW! Even if you are an impatient person, you will wait for these cocktails. Some of the best drinks I have ever experienced.

Cabin 4E

Very easy access to popular areas of the ship from here. I saw past reviews of smelling smoke in this area due to the Casino. I only faintly smelled some smoke on one night but believe that this was from the stairwell - not the ventilation system. VERY IMPORTANT - If you love some lively craps table action and plan to be on the floor until late night, then this is the cabin for you. If you want total quiet or this would temp you to check in on the action :) , book deck 4 or below. I could literally hear the number that was rolled. (But I love craps!)
