This was my second trip on NCL, with my last being about 10 years ago. I am platinum on Princess and have traveled on Carnival and RCCL as well. I selected a B6 room (#9124) which has a larger balcony. I live in Manhattan so the trip to Pier 88 was quick. I got to the terminal at about 11 AM and boarded by 1130, dropped my bags in the room. met my steward Morena and headed for lunch at the dining room to start off my cruise.

Observations:

1. The internet package was data based and not time based which I never encountered before. This concept had me confused initially until I got the hang of it. Prices for data packages increased in price on day 4.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B6

The room was too small. The beds in this room, were pushed up against the closet, so much so that you needed to shimmy over to open them if the beds were separated. There is no coffee table to use if you order room service. The tv remote couldnt be used by the person closest to the closet. The sofa was stained in several places. The towels sometimes had makeup stains. The bathroom was clean and average size. The room was far down the hall close (from the front stairs) about 10 rooms from the front of the ship. I liked the size of the balcony and would not want a room with a smaller balcony. The balcony fit one lounger, 2 chairs and one table.
