My wife an I found the most wonderful way to enjoy valentines day aboard the RCL Enchantment of the Seas. This was our second year on valentines weekend although we have done other weekend cruises, have always been satisfied and keep coming back.

RCL just finished a new cruise terminal at Port Canaveral with a great parking structure and organized drop off area. I still think they charge too much for parking - $60 for the 3 days but I guess that's cheap by New York standards.

We enjoy dancing and dining and the ship offers both and does it very well. This time after telling friends we ended up having 10 other couples join us and RCL went the extra mile in making it work. After speaking with the temporary cruise director (Enzo) he actually changed the band schedule so that they would have some extra dance music available each evening which was fantastic. Staff from the room attendants to the bar and wait staff were great as well.

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

Room was great - we enjoy the junior suites and when available get the ones in the back of the ship. They seem be a little more roomy although the downside is you have to walk a long way to the stairs or elevator. Also if you are on deck 7 in the back just below is the club where they do the Quest show which goes to midnight and can be quite loud if you turn in early. The ship is definitely older and a bit tired but still was very well maintained.
