Disappointed. 4th cruise - last with Thomson. How this can be rated "platinum" or 4 star is beyond me. Cabin "ok" but the bathroom was shabby. £15 extra for a safe, too early cabin kick out time or £35 for a late departure says it all. Mostly the worst part was the food. I'm neither fussy or awkward but it was half cold and bland (most passengers we met either mentioned or agreed - I was trying NOT to be a killjoy). The staff were good - but the dining room was so "attentive" that your plate was removed virtually as your fork was put down!!! It didn't matter that your partner was still eating - I could have almost been on desert while my wife was still on her starter!!! No dining "experience / atmosphere. Ship very clean but tired (very surprised to read she's had a recent refit). In our "premium" cabin - broken hairdryer, squelchy bathroom floor, full on 24/7 aircon with controls not working and a leaking sink (soon repaired). Entertainment seemed popular generally - not much compensation for the rest of it though.

A warning - our first time on the Atlantic - but we have been across the North Sea - this ship rolls and pitches in seemingly calm!!! I don't think it has stabalisers!!
