My husband, son (age 10) and I flew out to Miami last Easter for a 14 night (back to back) cruise on the MSC Divina. We flew from Heathrow to Miami with American Airlines. On booking in at the airport we were informed that seat allocation had not been completed and would be give this information when called to the departure gate. When we boarded the airline, we had been allocated premium seats which was very nice.

Boarding the ship took a while as lots of people arrived at the port together, but this was not a problem for us.

Once onboard we were directed to our balcony cabin on deck 11. It was very spacious, clean and bright. We could not fault it in any way. The cabin was well maintained at all times, towels changed twice daily, beds made as soon as we left the room.

Cabin Review

Cabin 9

Cabin 11136 was very spacious, clean and bright. The beds were made as soon as we left our rooms and towels were changed twice a day. The shower cubicle was a tad small but did what we needed. The shower wash and shampoo was topped up frequently. The cabin had an ajoining door to the next cabin. We had one like this on another ship when travelling with friends. It has 2 doors-one for each room. Not a problem though. One night the maid forgot to open our sons bed (sofa bed which made up to a double bed). I turned this as he was tired. Next day she was mortified that she had not done this and could not appologise enough. We said it was not a problem and told her not to worry. She did a great job.
