This was our first river cruise, and we are so happy that we chose Viking! The Grand European Tour was everything we expected and more. The scenery, the towns and villages, the exposure to history, the daily tours, they were all we could have wanted. The Lif became our very own home for 15 terrific days and that was due not only to the comfort of the ship itself (which was beautifully designed), but was due in large part to the friendliness of, and the inclusion by, the crew. They literally became like family and made our time on board even more special. I think it is exceptional to report that we were a group of ten and not a one of us had a single complaint. We have already booked our 2015 Viking Cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin French Balcony (D)

Our cabin was wonderfully comfortable and was a welcome place to call home for two weeks. I especially liked being able to slide open the door and have the river right at my feet--it reminded me of being on oursailboat at home. Cabin was quiet.
