This is the only second cruise we have been on. The cruise ship was fantastic, food and staff very good. The problems we had were with Thompson from the start. When we booked it was not explained to us about the cabins or the upgrade. It was a shame because the ship was good for the money the one problem we had that you must be aware of we upgraded but when we got to are cabin it had single beds but we were led to believe it was double beds .When I went to reception there were al lot of people complaining with the same problem, There was a lady in tears because here husband had booked this as a surprise birthday present, we were two couples and a friend who was a widower he had a double bed, he went to reception to offer his room so they could have a double bed, But the manager that he spoke to did not want to know. We will be looking at other cruises in the future it is a shame because Thompson are letting there staff down. As we could not book in on line before are holiday because Thompson web site crashed we had to book in at the airport. This was not bad but on return Thompson booked us in online from the ship, are party had two couples and a single as motioned above. and we all sat separately some distance apart. The air hostess said when we complained that this happens on every flight and she could not apologise enough. Most of the island we called at we arrange are own excursions are selves apart for one this we did do with Thompson four hours in a old bus with no suspension on mountain roads full of pot holes, When we boarded the bus the only seat left for my wife was over the wheel arch she had to sit with here knees under her chin and at 66 years of age this was terrible.
The boat was very good and the staff apart from reception who think the problem will go away the rest fantastic it is a shame for the rest of the staff
