This was our 6th cruise with Norwegian and our first aboard a megaship like Epic. Never had complaints about the normal sized ships but Epic is in a class all its own.

We embarked on Sunday March 8th for a Western Carribean cruise. Embarkation went smoothly and there was no delay getting aboard. The gal at the desk who gave us our ship cards was either super tired or just plain hated her job. No smile, no have a nice cruise, nothing. We entered the ship on the 6th floor which is also home to the ships casino. A HUGE casino. The smell of old smoke very apparent.

We found our way to the elevators ( 2 sets only, back of ship and front of ship) and rode up to the 13th floor to find our stateroom. Perfect location just off of the elevators. I say this because the fron and back are the only stairs elevators on the whole ship. You must walk up to 15 and across the pool deck to get to the buffet. Our room was nice but the sink was in the living space. Plenty of storage. Very European styled. Balcony was nice. All very clean. There is no separation in the room for the bathroom and shower. A vinyl curtain is the only privacy from the bed and living area. The room is very narrow and 2 people could not pass in front of the bed. Bed comfy. We did not meet our room steward until after the muster drill and after our dinner.

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M2

the rooms are European styled and space is very limited. Dislike the fact that the toilet is part of the main space.
