Sail Date: Mar 2015
Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2D

Background: We are a family of three adults who have sailed with Celebrity about 20 times since the late 1990's. Our first Celebrity trip was on the Horizon.

Embarkation was frustrating and anxiety provoking. We had originally booked a Celebrity suite 1622 for the three of us and then decided, at the last minute, to add another cabin to give us more elbow room. We booked an inside guarantee and were assigned cabin 6206 - obstructed balcony. This was very nice and quite generous on Celebrity's part.

The senior gentleman checking us in, however, found it hard to understand that one family had two cabins. He need additional supervision and training before being permitted to attempt to service customers. He had trouble signing us in and forgot to give us the blue pamphlet provided by the concierge, Milika.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2D

Cabin 2D

We had two cabins. Both were well maintained. 6206 had an obstructed view but still had sunlight on the balcony. A lifeboat was hanging low outside the balcony so you cannot view the water directly at the lower level of the ship. Basic cabin.1622 Celebrity Suite. Nice size balcony. Lovely decor. Perfect butler service.
