We sailed for 4 nights on the Celebrity Constellation with friends and part of a larger group that were part of a package put on by a local Florida craft brewery. This was our fourth time on the Constellation and overall the ship continues to deliver. It has nice pool and spa facilities, a good fitness area and good entertainment. We did find that the shows were reruns of earlier ones that we had seen on this ship, but for a first time viewer it is enjoyable. I did find that the food in the main dining room was not as good as previous times on this ship noticing that the menu really hasn't changed much over the past 5 years. Past trips on this ship have delivered food that exceeded the quality that we have had on other ships, but this time around the meals resembled more of the mass produced characteristics that you might expect from another line.
I also felt the service had slipped from previous trips as well. We had a beverage package and prepaid gratuities included and I suspect many guests may have had the same thing because the bartenders, wait staff and sommelier just did not engage themselves with the passengers compared to previous trips on this ship. They also were not as attentive, lacked knowledge of the menu/preparation of the food and seemed to go through the motions. Positives with the food though were tasty, un-crowded breakfasts in the aqua spa and the pool grill still churns out a darn good burger and fries for lunch.
Check-in and departure were both pretty efficient
The stateroom was of adequate size and was clean. The bathroom showed a little sign of wear/tear with the fixtures but our stateroom attendant was friendly and attentive.
