Last year was the first time we cruised on the Freedom. The thing I noticed most this year was the improvement in service. While we had very good service by our room stewart and waitstaff in the main dining room last year, our waitresses in the main dining room this year were the best in all our years of cruising. They were terrific.

I think the most improvement in service was in the Windjammer where the waitstaff were courtesy and efficient. The quick clean up of tables and clutter were constant.

Actually, every department on the ship demonstrated great service. They really did want you to feel pampered and relaxed.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

This was a very nice cabin with plenty of room and storage. While it was close to the forward elevator, there was no noise from those using the elevator. However, it was a long, long walk to the aft elevator we took to go down or up to the dining areas. The theater is located in the forward part of the ship. Therefore, we used the aft elevator much more than the forward elevator. While we did feel a lot of rocking two nights when the ship was traveling fast, the other nights were fine.
