First of all, I was presented with the offer of a "free cruise" through a phone call. The first time they called, I dismissed them - thinking it was a scam. The second time I actually listened to the sales person. We was told that we just needed to pay 59$ per person. What they didnt tell us at that time was all of the gratuity and taxes and fees that would be charged at each place. They dont tell you that until after you book with them. I suggest if they offer you anything extra in your package that you get some sort of confirmation of it. I was offered a few extra things and because I didnt have confirmation, I didnt get it. They make you go on a "tour", which is a sales person trying to sell you a time share. They say its a 2 hour tour but ours was set at 8:30 am and we didnt leave the place until 1:30 pm. When they told me over the phone that I would have to participate in a "tour" to get the promotional pricing, they didnt tell me it was a sells pitch. I thought it was a tour of Fort Lauderdale or a tourist tour. They also dont tell you that every time you turn around, you have someone new trying to sell you something.

I purchased a package that extended our whole vacation into a 7 night vacation. Staying 2 nights in Florida, 1 on the ship going to the Bahamas, 2 in the Bahamas, 1 on the ship coming back, and an extra night in Florida before we left for home. By time we go half way through our first night on the ship, we wanted to just go home. However, I am glad that we didnt because the Bahamas was beautiful. If I could do all over again, i would have just flown to the Bahamas, instead of dealing with the cruise line.

When booking I paid what they asked assuring that I would have a "grand" vacation. When we got to the hotel that they set us up with in Fort Lauderdale, it was horrible. The hotel was in a horrible neighborhood with staff that had terrible attitudes. When we checked onto the ship, our room accommodations were terrible. There was no A/C and the temperatures exceeded 90 degrees. When brought up to the cruise staff, we was told there wasnt anything that they could do until the next day, but we would have already disembarked. When we went to the front desk, the woman had a bad attitude but offered to change us cabins. Our party included 3 people. When we got to the next room, the air wasnt working in there either and it would not accommodate 3 people. When we called to the front desk, she didnt believe us and sent someone with a roll-away bed anyway (30 minutes later). He assured us that there was no where that he could have put a third bed in the cabin. Needless to say, we were moved again to another cabin. The first cabin was in the middle of the ship. The second in the VERY front of the ship, and the third in the VERY back of the ship. We had to move everything ourselves. This cabin was a handicap cabin but only had enough sleeping space for 2 people. We had to wait again for about 30 more minutes for someone to bring a roll-away bed. When the bed was placed in the room, it either blocked the bathroom door, or the exit door. Potentially causing a fire hazard. By this time is was 12:30am. We were all tired and wanted to just get some rest instead of dealing with cruise staff that had bad attitudes. We was told that we had to disembark our ship by 9:00 am but when we got to the Grand Lucayan we couldnt get a room until 3:00 pm. We had to wait for a room for 5 hours. Everything else in the Grand Bahamas was fabulous! No complaints there. When arriving back onto the ship for the cruise back to Port of Palm Beach everything was okay. No major complaints. However, when we disembarked the ship and received our vehicle from the valet service, our vehicle had a crack that was the length of half the windshield. The crack wasnt there when we left the vehicle in their care. When I asked the "management" about the situation he said that "their valet staff doesnt going around cracking windshields so there is nothing he could do". Not only did I have to pay the 67$ to leave my vehicle in their care, entrusting that it would be safe, I also have to pay an additional 275$ for a new windshield. When calling and trying to speak with someone about all of the issues we had, everyone says there is nothing that they can do. OVERALL, this is the most horrible and exhausting experience I have ever had and no one is willing to make it right. I would not recommend this cruise line to anyone.
