This cruise was our first first cruise for my wife and I. We had no particular expectations as we neither read the reviews nor looked at the photos in depth. We chose it mainly because of the low price and the port of embarkation. Coincidentally, 3 of my coworkers (and their families) also sailed on this cruise with one of them being on the exact cruise and we had a laugh about it. Overall, it was a fun cruise.

Embarkation:

Getting to the Falcon cruise terminal in Boston was relatively easy for us, as was checking in at the port. It was not a huge port but it served the ship well in that the lines moved and we did not have to wait in the hot sun. Upon first entering the ship, we noticed that there was live music and people lounging around, waiting for their rooms to be ready.

Cabin 4B

As this was the first time we have cruised, we have no particular expectations regarding the cabin other than from the photos online. When we first opened the door to our cabin, we were glad that it was like the photos. Clean and cozy, we were able to settle in quickly. This particular cabin is at the front of the ship and on one of the lower decks. As such, as were able to hear some of the machinery at night. We could also feel the ship moving through the waves while we were sleeping and that added an interesting touch while sleeping.
