My husband and I sailed March 8th. We arrived at the port around 10:30 and were on the Dream by 11:30. We took our carry bag by the room (2470) and left it immediately. The door was left open because the attendant had not completed the cleaning. We went up to the lido deck and began the food fest that lasted for seven days. We had early dining in the Crimson Dining room. We were at a table of 8 and so enjoyed everyone at our table. Our room was on the second deck and at the very back of the ship. We walked up one set of stairs to be in our dining room for dinner and for breakfast. We took the aft elevators to the lido deck and spent most of our time in the sun on the aft pool area. The last sea day we did have a problem finding a lounge chair but it was ok because by then we had plenty of sun and really did not need to lay out for long any ways. The food in the dining room was very good, the wait staff was superb. The food at the buffet was good. We loved the Mongolian Wok and I loved the Tandoor. The shows were delightful. We saw two comedians and they were both very funny. This is a beautiful ship that we will look forward to going on in the future many times again we hope. We loved being on the back of the ship. The noise of the anchors and lines going out at the ports did not bother us because we are early risers. The only thing I would do differently would be self assist to disembark as we could have left the ship at 8:30 instead of 11:15. We spent lots of time in the casino but did not win!!!! We did receive an offer for a free cruise for an interior cabin if we booked within 15 days. I called this morning and was advised that the cruise had to be taken by July. Thus we will not go so soon.
very nice room. It was not any bigger than a regular ocean view and there was only one window. It was wonderful being on the very back of the ship. Most everything we wanted to do was located aft. I would book this room again. No noise at night at all.
