We decided to take the Southern Caribbean Cruise out of San Juan to celebrate our 25th Anniversary with another couple. We chose this cruise well! For our first cruise it was a perfect ship and perfect ports! We had cabin 8614 w/balcony located in Midship. We found the location of our room, perfect, it was not far from the stairs as we took the stairs to our destinations as much as we could. The room was not very big but perfect for what we needed. It had a loveseat beside the bed with a small table in front of it. It did have an old tube TV but as others have mentioned you don

The elevators are all glass, very nice touch, so you still get a view when inside! The whole ship was very nice in our eyes, even if some people say it needs a facelift. Their are plenty of bars and all have fairly quick service. I must mention that I found most bartenders made the drinks a little too strong for my taste.

The pool area is nice but always very, very busy, especially on the full cruising day...very crowded. There are 2 bars around the outside pool and 1 in the Solarium Pool area.
