We had a wonderful time sailing on the Independence of the Seas to the Eastern Caribbean.

The Ship

The Independence of the Seas is beautiful, classy, clean and well maintained, the staff are clearly working hard to keep it looking bright and shiny. We loved the Royal Promenade, it's a brilliant space with a great energy and I pretty much want every cruise ship I sail in the future to have one. We enjoyed the quirky artwork in the staircases and cabin hallways. Even though the ship is huge it still feels like a cruise ship with lots of windows with views of the ocean.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

The cabin was a good size and had just enough storage space for the two us. Clever use of mirrors made the space feel larger than it was so it didn’t feel cramped or claustrophobic. I would book an inside cabin again. You could hear the faint sounds of music when there was a band playing in the Pyramid Lounge below but it wasn’t enough to keep us awake.
