This was our 2nd trip to the Tahitian Islands, the first time we visited we stayed on Huahine, so we knew that we wanted to someday revisit this tropical paradise and see all of the islands. The best way to accomplish this is to jump on a cruise ship. The Paul Gaugin was beyond our wildest expectations. From the time you board the ship of only about 350 passengers, you feel as if you are the only passenger that matters. The staff remembers your names and your favorite beverage ( which by the way, is Top Shelf and all included in your price) from your first encounter. You can even order 2 liters of your favorite alcohol for your room) The rooms are luxurious and the meals are beyond 4 star. The boat visits all the major islands, and if you get the chance to debark and visit Bloody Marys on Bora Bora, DO IT. These islands are partially impoverished, but you can't describe the beauty that is Tahiti and its islands. We feel like the best way to experience this paradise is on the Paul Gaugin. We will be back next year, so maybe we will catch up with you on the Seven Seas Paul Gaugin.
