I had randomly taken a week's vacation with no specific plans when I found a Groupon for a $198.99 2-night Bahamas Celebration cruise. I enjoyed the cruise as quick getaway and something fun to do on a day off although I certainly would not recommend it for a honeymoon or to impress a new girlfriend. It was not 5-star luxury but the cabin was comfortable, the food was decent and the entertainment was good. I even enjoyed this cruise a little more than a 3-night Carnival cruise because the smaller ship meant less crowded entertainment venues.

If you go on this cruise expecting 5-star luxury you will probably find things to complain about, but if take it for what it is -- a quick getaway and a 2-day party -- it is enjoyable. The only thing I really did not like was the nickel-and-diming and excessive promotion of the affiliated Bahamas resort. My only real complaint is the disembarkation process when we returned to Florida was chaotic and I had to wait in line for 3 hours.
