This board has been such an amazing help that I felt compelled to post soon as I got back. REMEMBER opinions are like noses, everyone has one. I will try and give my honest impression of MY experience, someone else might have experienced a whole different take on the same cruise. So here I go, I'm not going to take one side or the other, this is just MY EXPERIENCE, yours might be completely different.

Embarkation: The port was a little like a warehouse, not any different than the one we used in New Orleans, but who cares, we were going on a cruise. Celebrity's people have it down to a science. Got to the dock about 11:30 with my pre-board pass in hand, we were on the ship by 11:45. I have been on many a cruise, even had Captains Club Status on the Carnival Conquest and have never been on the ship so smoothly.

Got on the ship, which is beautiful in every way, had my comp champagne and although our cabin wasn't ready they said it was OK for us to drop off our carry ons.
