We were coming off a B2B on the Island Princess through the Panama Canal before we picked up a Feb 22nd 7 day cruise on the Regal.

What struck us immediately is that there are very few, if any, areas to simply get away once in awhile from the crowds. There is no promenade deck or library to think of the Wheel House bar is total open along with piped in music on the stateroom decks and at 12:00 the blast the horn again and again.

It's not that we wanted to hide away for the trip but the odd day just for a couple of hours to get away from it all:-(

For 7 day cruise we take inside cabins. The plan of course is to be somewhere else during the day. The cabin was clean just off mid ship so we could choose to either take the mid ship elevators or aft elevators. All in all a good location.
