The very good:
The full transit and the comprehensive and most interesting all-day commentary by Bill Keene. Not only was it available on the open deck, it was also available on our room's tv. The size of the Island Princess and its open deck spaces made it very easy to see anything and everything.
The Headwaiter Paul Brato, waiter Mark and junior waiter Mary in the Bordeaux dining room. They made every dinner there more enjoyable.
Mid-ship starboard mini-suite, lots of room, decor getting a little tired, the usual shortage of accessible plugs but workable. Plenty of storage but perhaps its time to upgrade the size of the safe to allow storage of an iPad. Also perhaps its time to eliminate the undersized tub/shower combo and just go with a shower. At various times, there was the very loud sound of water rushing through a pipe, seemed to be discharging into the drain on the balcony. Very strange and could not be explained by the plumbing/HVAC staff. Otherwise quiet with easy access to stairs and elevators.
