Disney Dream is not designed properly for masses of passengers it carries. Public areas are always overwhelmingly crowded, pools, buffet and even elevators. Rooms were very comfortable but once you stepped out into the hallway the nightmare started. Narrow long hallways always had housekeeping carts and food trays on the floor no matter what time of day, add people passing from opposite direction to that. 6 elevators in midship are a joke, there was always long wait and they were always packed full. Pools are so desperate in size, they should be called jacuzzi tubs. Nursery is one small room with tv and floor mats. Our 2 year old spent 3 hours (for a fee) there and refused to go back. Didn't blame her. Dinners were spent with another family at our table. Very uncomfortable if you're not social butterfly. The "Straw that broke the camel's back" was the fact that captain couldn't dock this huge ship on their own island Castaway Cay on a beautiful day. What a let down. Two days at sea with bunch of disappointed people roaming the ship with nothing to do. Pirate night was nothing spectacular, sound was so terrible at the show that if you not directly in front of the stage you can't understand a word they say. Other shows were ok, we loved the movies and went to see every one, be prepared to pay for popcorn, it does not come free or cheap. Dinners were good, there was always something to choose from for adults, not so much for kids. And what comes to 6:45am breakfast on a last day you can request later hour or simply skip it and eat buffet at the Cabannas. Preferred parking comes in handy if you carrying your own luggage off the ship. If you don't turn in children's bracelets you will be charged for them. You will be auto charged gratuity to your credit card, statement will be in your room last evening. Our 4 year old came down with Norovirus less than 24 hours after leaving the ship, needless to say the trip itself (and the post trip) has been very exhausting. Trying to make the best of everything so the kids can enjoy the vacation and then coming home and take care of them being sick for two weeks straight was definitely not worth the hard earned money we paid for that disaster of a trip. Never again Disney
