Great Cruise – Some Facts to Help You Decide

Overall a wonderful cruise – had Junior Suite – took transfer bus to/from airport to cruise terminal – ship was refurbished in Feb this year – and crew was exceptional. Food was good in the Windjammer (never ate in Dining Room for dinner) and feel this continues to be the challenge RCCL has to work on. Entertainment was average at best both for the cast and headliners – nothing to write home about or get up in the middle and leave. It was just OK. We are Diamond RCCL members and we’d go on this ship again simply because of the amenities on the ship, the crew and the ports of call. Review is in format so you can pick the area you’d like more info on and also working to keep it succinct:

Getting On-Board/Off: Used transfer bus to/from airport – simple, easy and convenient. The port is a new facility (opened Dec 15) and took us 20-min to get on the ship and approx 20 min to get off and clear customs. Bags arrived around 5:30pm to our room. There have been problems in the past but these seem to have been taken care of. Of note: If you are in a Suite (of any size) there is a customs line just for you and we bypassed a line with approx 80 people in it – but it was moving quite fast as well.

Awesome cabin...spacious! Walk-in closet, tub in the bathroom, sofa & chair w/footstool. Great way to relax! Balcony had two regular chairs w/table and 2 loungers.
