Sail Date: Dec 2014

Hi folks. First, thank you to all CCers for all of your help in the past. We sailed on QOTS with a 4 and 6 year old. We knew it was nearly a brand new ship, and thanks to all of you, we knew there were "bugs" galore. We got on the ship intent on having a great time with a minimum requirement of only three things: 1. food to eat, 2. Decent enough place to sleep, 3. ability to communicate with each other. That's it. And based on all the reviews, we thought we would be fine.

What we didn't know getting on the ship:

1. the virtual balcony "sounds" weren't working at all. This became a bit of an issue when our noise complaints were not dealt with, and we were trying to drown out the noise above our cabin. We had not brought our "white noise" maker as the VB sounds would have been fine. (We listened to the "music" channel number 41 I think to drown out noise - number 40 wasn't working. It was a black enough screen, but very upbeat music to try and sleep to!)
