In a surprise business move, Royal Caribbean sold out the "Liberty of the Seas" to Carnival. Approximately 2000 college attendees took their spring break out on unsuspecting Royal Caribbean loyalists by turning my "restful" vacation into a rendition of "Animal House". Excessive drinking associated with the usual loud, vulgar, and crude language including singing the "F-bomb" in chorus, prevented many of us from "enjoying the ship" as suggested by the cruise director. The most enjoyable part of enjoying the ship was getting off for the ports but certainly not embarking or disembarking where long lines (sometimes in rain) are apparently the norm for this cruise (my taxi driver pointed this out to me. RC if you are listening - fix the lines!!!)

The staff were delightful & shows great - especially the Unexpected Boys & Saturday Night Fever. Food quality as usual great - I had a fantastic Lobster Tail on formal night. Johnny Rockets milkshakes are the BEST. You might guess that the Windjammer was chaos at times with the party animals stoking up for the carousing.

We had two great private excursions in Belize & Cozumel - highlight of our trip. We spent a lot of time on our balcony - thank goodness we had one - just for some peace & quiet. We could not use the pools, hot tubs, wave rider etc due to "fraternity domination".
