I have cruised 3 times with Carnival and enjoyed each one. Was given a chance to try Princess and thought it would be a step up. The ship was okay. Our cabin was a balcony and we enjoyed coffee there in the morning. Our bathroom had a urine smell and it took some cleaning and shower curtain change to help improve the smell. Cabin steward was not as happy or helpful as we have experienced on Carnival. There was a sewage smell in some of the common areas. That was unpleasant to say the least. Food in the dining room was ok. Liked Carnivals selection better. Our servers in the dining room were great. The buffet was awful. The selection was small and the food that was supposed to be hot was cold by the time we walked to out table. Breakfast was so bad we opted to eat cold cereal and coffee on our balcony on most mornings. We will cruise again but it wont be with Princess.
