This is my sixth cruise on the DAWN. 12th with NCL. 18 overall cruises. I have come to appreciate and enjoy the ship, food, entertainment and staff of the Dawn a great deal. I give all these areas high marks.

EMBARKATION: This process was a nightmare. I arrived at the pier at 10:45 AM and was told the Latitudes area was already full and I would have to wait downstairs. I was booked in a Penthouse and even though I had told them that, they needed to get three people over to look at my ticket over and over to decide whether I could go upstairs or not.

As if they know which cabin number is actually a suite or not? I think NCL who states they give "PRIORITY EMBARKATION" to their GOLD, PLATINUM and VIP's and SUITE guests SHOULD ACTUALLY PRINT THIS ON THEIR TICKET! Once allowed upstairs, There was the usual coffee, tea, hot chocolate set up with the additions of small sandwiches and pound cake (a very nice touch).
