Sail Date: Feb 2015

This is my second Disney Cruise ship review.

My first Cruise was on the Disney Dream in September 2013. Now about a year and a half later we have sailed on the second of the Big Ships , The Disney Fantasy.

We arrived at the port from WDW Caribbean Beach resort via Disney Transportation. This I would not do again. The bus was fine it was clean and the service was excellent. However when you travel on Disney Buses you are on Disney itinerary. We could have gotten on the ship at 10:30 if we had made our own travel arrangements, but because we took the bus we arrived at about 2 pm. It was nice to have our room ready when we arrived. It was just more expensive and really the only advantage getting our big suit cases picked up the night before. Next time we will just book a van and save a few dollars and get to the ship earlier.

Cabin Review

Cabin 4A

This is a great cabin for a small family of 3. There is no drop down bed. Only a couch that converts to sleeper. The Veranda is huge with 4 chairs. 2 are normally deck chairs and the other two are half loungers. If you use the other two chairs to put your feet up you will never miss not having a full lounge chair. The room was very quite and other then a child having a complete and total meltdown one evening in the cabin next to us and a few kids running up and down the hallway were heard nothing. Deck 5 is very close to the theatres and is on the same level as the Oceneers Lab. It also is the top level of the atrium. We would be very happy to get this stateroom again.
