This was our second cruise previously sailing on RCL Liberty of the seas , on which we had an amazing time .Having read loads of other reviews on MSC and Splendida I have to admit I was a little nervous on what to expect as some of them were quiet negative ...needless to say I worried in vain this ship is fantastic .Boarding in Barcelona was over in 10 mins ., our balcony cabin was ready by 1pm , luggage arriving shortly after .Navigating around this huge ship can be tricky and can take some time to get your bearings .We had the drinks package and this I feel is a must as prices on board are expensive .Food glorious Food was amazing , cant say we had one bad meal .our waiters were friendly and helpful and kept the wine flowing .Entertainment in the theatre was hit and miss ,one or two shows didn't appeal to us but overall were good ..entertainment around the ship was great , the numerous bars all offering a variety of music and dance , the Aft bar was a great venue to finish up the night . Poolside looked great but unfortunately the weather wasn't too kind to us so didn't spend too much time there ..there is an inside pool and hot tubs and they were busy .The ship was full but it never felt crowded and the staff we met were very friendly even having drinks with us on one occasion .MSC Splendida is a beautiful ship and I wouldn't think twice about sailing on her again and hopefully I will .
