We didn't know what to expect from thomson cruises. Overall it was value for money. The cabin on deck 4 was not huge but adequate twin beds. The en suite is really in bad need of refurbishment like most of the ship. Everything works and the cabin crew kept it clean. The cabin was an inside cabin. As we don't spend much time in the cabin it was ok. The food in restaurants were ok. The decor of the self service areas could do with a face lift. The waiter service restaurants were good like the waiters good service and very friendly. If you didn't like the menu they tried to give a alternative. The dress code is relaxed shame really. The drinks package have lots of conditions. Unless included don't bother. The shows were great the entertainment were exceptional. The resident band were also excellent. We enjoyed every show. The Ship would benefit from stabilizers as it rocked all week even in calm waters, I suffer from motion sickness. The ports were nothing to shout about a long walk to most destination. The Thomsons trips we felt are expensive we only did one in Morocco mainly to keep safe. We did enjoy the trip cost over £30 each. It was easy disembarkation in port. Payment on board we used credit card but incurred a charge again this should be scrapped. The safe in cabin was extra on weekly basis. This could be included. At the end of the cruise little information given of where to wait for the transfer coach to airport. We got a good price for the cruise and felt it fair. If we had paid the full amount we would have not been satisfied. Many other travellers were disappointed either of cabin or paid to much for the cruise.
