Our 39th Anniversary and I pushed to sail with NCL for the first time and on Epic. I will never hear the end of my terrible choice. The room is tiny with the sink being on the desk which is just plain wrong. No room to maneuver at all Any time you wash your hands you must first move away computers, phones etc. because the water gets all over. The lighting is dismal. Our room steward would get around to making up the room around 1:30PM and sometimes as late as 3PM. We did not go to specialty restaurants on board after they confiscated our wine and charged us $30 to get it back. First cruise line that we have sailed that does not allow you to bring wine to drink in your room. Food at all venues we tried were "old and cold". We discovered the food made to order at the H2O area to be fantastic but found it late in the cruise. The service onboard was awful. If we asked 5 employees the same question, we got 5 different answers. None of them correct. You can sign up for a reserved time slot for the tender on your TV. Great idea accept they were delayed, according to them because of swails. Carnival and Royal Caribbean seemed to be doing just fine. Turns out NCL couldn't get their doors down. Your reserved time was no longer available after a 1.5 hour delay. It was a free for all. No announcements. We have sailed over a dozen times but this was the first cruise where the employees never even acknowledged us with a hello or anything, strange. The entertainment on the ship was very good. Service sucked. Food as stated earlier, 'Old and Cold". Information given in the newsletter about disembarkation and collecting duty free items was totally wrong and it took a lot of people going to guest services to straighten it out. Hand rails throughout the ship were sticky. I made a wrong choice going on this ship with this line and will pay for it for a long time

Small is not tiny enough of a word. Whoever designed the sink to be on the desk in the room had to be wasted. Protect your electronics or they will get wet. Shower is bigger than most. Lighting is dim at best. We heard the same complaints from people with balcony's. They sail with 4,000 cramped people.
