Sail Date: Feb 2015

We sailed on the Majesty 28/2/15 to the Canary Islands and had a really great holiday!! After reading some very negative reviews I didn't know what to expect and went with an open mind. The first thing you will notice when you arrive is the friendliness and welcome from the staff. They make you feel special the moment you arrive and continue to serve you with a smile on their face throughout your trip. There is plenty to do on board, the entertainment is excellent and the shows as good as any you will see on the West End stage. The food is good, plenty of choice of restaurants so if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere head for the buffet, or if you fancy waiter service go to the Seven Seas or the Four Seasons for a more formal night. Don't be put off by the seating arrangements; we preferred to eat on our own and if you ask for a table for 2 you will get one! Food is available all day long, there is always somewhere open to eat! Dress code is fairly casual although people do tend to dress up if going to the more formal restaurants. Excursions were good although could have been a bit longer. If you decide not to go on excursions there is usually an organised walk into town where a member of staff will point out interesting places to visit. We opted for an outside plus cabin (deck 3) which was very roomy and worth paying the extra for. The only thing I will say is that the ship is a little tired here and there although the staff keep it very clean. I would recommend this ship and I would certainly travel on the Majesty again.
