A poor tired and shabby ship, not what all the glowing recommendations said it was. Queuing for over an hour to get on board, cabins not ready, crew that couldnt speak very good english, poor service, shall I go on? For a ship that boasts over two thousand passengers, why was there only 1 disembarkation gangway when docked at Amsterdam? I think P and O ought to take some lessons from some of the other cruise liners we have been on, as it was a complete shambles, with queues snaking around the ship to get off!!

We opted for the set dining in the evening as didn't want to have to join the feeding frenzy in the self service restaurant. However i may have made the wrong choice that first evening as my steak was gristly, veg and potatoes were hard in the middle, no what Marco Pierre White promised at all! And on disembarkation day we were told at breakfast that they didn't have time to do us poached eggs, this was despite us waiting over 20 minutes for breakfast anyway, work that one out if you can?! All in all folks, try Britannia, could be better though can't guarantee it as now probably won't do another cruise with P and O again, stick with the American cruise liners as they appear to have the upper hand when it comes to attention to detail and quality and value for money.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom with Shower

Cabin JB

Tired and shabby furniture, dust on mirrors and sprinklers, nasty finger marks on light switches. Smelly toilet.
