I have just returned from a 4 night cruise to Amsterdam and zeebugge it was my first time on p&o having sailed on royal Caribbean and Holland America before all the cruise lines have good and bad points.the process of dropping the car off with cps was well organised and smooth as was checking in we arrived about 1145 and were on board by 12 15 .up to the buffet for lunch where the food was Luke warm at best we went outside to try the barbaque which wasn't even Luke warm the cabin were ready about 230 and the suitcase were waiting outside the cabin itself was clean and comfortable with a fridge safe and a really powerful shower.the entertainment was very very good especially the man with the puppets the price of the drinks onboard were about the same price as your local.we had freedom dining which worked well for us only had to wait once for a table for 2 and that was only about 10 minutes the quality of the food was pretty good if the portions for each course small its a good job you got 5 courses.i think p&o should invest in some new knives half the time you struggled even to cut the bread roll.where p&o really let themself down was the price of the tours for example £38 each just to drop you off in Brugge when the price of the train to brugge was only 6 euros return or over £40 for a trip to Anne franks house when you walk to it and pay 9 euros the disembarkment ran smoothly and we were back on the road by 830 overall I joined the mini cruise and would sail with p&o again but not take the tours
