This was our first Carnival Caribbean cruise, not one we planned but were asked by relatives to join, which we gladly did. I would not choose this itinerary again. Grand Turks and Nassau were not pleasant at all until we gave up on the excursion and returned to the port, in Grand Turk, and then enjoyed the day in the shops and at Margarataville.

The ship was fine, not fancy at all, we had good service on both the deck and the dining room.m

The food was just so so and we were surprised that at certain times of the day you had to look pretty far for something to eat if you were outside the typical meal times. The Room Service menu was very limited, and once we ordered toast for breakfast and got warm wheat bread, not toasted at all,many no butter,because we didn't realize you had to order butter separately. We enjoyed the casino and the service was good until I earned enough points to get free drinks, then the cocktail servers seemed to disappear. I'm not kidding.
