Staff: mostly friendly, supportive, hard working, and efficient. We felt that the crew to guest ratio was too low, resulting in occasional moments of frustratingly slow service. Some crewmembers had difficulty with the English language. For example, the Captain had a thick accent and was difficult to understand, which was problematic when he took to the P.A. system to discuss our ship’s Norovirus outbreak. While his personal involvement underscored the gravity of the situation, the message might have been more effectively communicated by another senior crewmember.

Food:

- the buffet was mostly OK but not impressive (as is the case on most cruise ships)
