Wow what a cruise, my DW and DS and I all went on this wonderful 7 day cruise. Leaving, well I set a land speed record driving from Colo Spngs to Denver, and ran to the gate just making the plane, so needless to say I was stressssssss out......... After arriving in Houston, I had a limo pick my family up and transported us to the port. The driver took a different route and we missed all of the traffic. Getting on board was a simple enough, they actually took us through one of the lines first because of our son he is 2. The rest of the lines were long but moved fast and by 1:30 pm I had my first and only drink of the day. I am not a cheap person, but at 8 dollars a drink I thought it was not worth it. Our luggage arrived around 4:30 and we unpacked.

We set sail and my DW and I watched the dolphins in the water from our balcony, we are the type to spend more time in the room then others so we thought this was a must. As soon as we hit international waters my DW and DS took a nap before dinner, and I hit the Black Jack Tables, 3 hours later we missed dinner and I was up 1500 dollars :) DW was happy and we reseated at the 8:00, we met a great couple from New Mexico, they were traveling with their two sons. After dinner we tried to catch a show but it was packed. We put our son in camp carnival and we went to the casino and won again.

Day two and three: Sea days, we enjoyed some sun, but as others have mentioned you need to wake up early to get a seat by the pool. They are cold so hopefully you have hot weather. For most of these two days we putted around the ship, we saw the midnight adult show, went to the piano bar and eat pizza. We went to formal night and had a good time, I don't like a bunch of exotic meals so I stuck with steak all week. I spent a whole lot of time in the casino and traded money with them all week. **Note you can charge up to $1000 per day on your sail and sign card, if you are not winning this bill can be huge, I will get back to that story in a bit.
