This was our 13th Carnival cruise and the 11th ship and it is the only one I would not go back this ship. While the Havana bar area was nice, it did not make up for taking out the pool and deck area. The space was so limited by the pool, that you could barely walk through, especially if there was an activity going on. The passages from the Lido restaurant to the pool area were also not very wide, so traffic really backed up - especially of someone stopped at the beverage station.

The Serenity area was nice and the waterfall and pool were a good addition, but again, there was not enough space for the amount of people on the ship. By 7 AM every morning, all chairs were taken for the day. The only time we found room was when we did not get off the ship in Grand Turk.

It was also frustrating to have to walk through the smoky casino on deck 5 to get from one set of common areas to the other. We prefer the ships where you can walk around the casino. Most of the side seating on decks 3 - 5 has also been removed, so there are limited places to sit and just relax.
