This was my husband and I's 10th cruise. The past 5 years we tend to do weekend cruises since we have small children and can only be gone a short time. We are in our late 30's and early 40's. I was very pleased to see the Princess started doing 4 and 5 night cruises as they have always been our favorite cruise line. This was going to be our 2nd trip on Caribbean princess we had sailed on her in 2007 on a 7 night Eastern Caribbean.

We left out of FLL and boarding was delayed because of a high rate of NoroVirus on the previous cruise. So while in port they had to do a deeper cleaning. They were still very organized and we were on the boat by 2 PM with the first 200 or so passengers. Our room was ready right away.

We had an interior room because we were trying to keep costs down on this one. Baja Deck which is 11, B736. It was fine for our needs. Our previous cruise on CB we had a balcony room and they are great too. I will say the beds on princess are not the best. That is one of the only negative things I will every say about this cruise line. I don't know what it is but they do tend to be lumpy. Same on every ship I have been on with them. But its not terrible and you can tolerate for a few nights.
