this was my first celebrity cruise and i was all excited to experience the excellent upscale experience everyone tells me celebrity offers. well i was very disappointed.

first, the good--the entertainment was excellent and the cruise director and his staff were great. the room was fine and the room staff was excellent.

now the bad--the food was poor in all areas, not enough choices, not served hot, and not very flavorful. the service in the buffet and other casual areas was very lacking, it almost felt as if half the staff was not even working. tables stayed dirty way too long with plates piling up everywhere. select dining without fixed dining times is TERRIBLE. it feels like you have to fight in lines to get seated, the waits are long and you cant develop a relationship with your servers having different ones every night, it is like starting from scratch and needing to retrain them to your preferences every night. the casino is also very tight to move around in.
