Returned on March 1, 2015 from our Breakaway cruse and it was the worst we have ever taken, after cruising since 1980! The amenities in the mini-suite were nothing to shout about, with crummy liquid soap to wash with, and crummy liquid shampoo/conditioner to use!! It is like Norwegian sacrificed quality for quantity, and for the most passenger they can get on the ship! Everyone was complaining about the long lines of people no matter where you went! The atrium of the ship had nice shows every night, but the mobs watching were very large, both on the floor of the atrium and the floor above, and It was dangerous to say the least with people overcrowding every floor! Also, it took over 3 hours to vacate the ship on its return to NYC, My husband has cerebral palsy, and when we found that there was massive overcrowding, getting off the ship, he asked one of the workers, guiding the off-going passengers, if he could get onto a shorter exit line, and all she did was point for him to get back on the original line! He did not want to make a big deal about it, because there were many people in wheelchairs, who were worse off than him!! Then, they lost our luggage at the pier, it look 4 people working for Norwegian, to try and track them down!! We have sailed on the NORWEGIAN DAWN TWO TIMES AND LOVED IT, but this Breakaway ship was very poorly organized, to say the least!!! Several people we know have gone on this ship, and when we told them we were going on it, they did not say ONE WORD!!!! However, the help was very nice and tried to help us as much as they could!! We will NOT be going back on Norwegian in the near future! We went on Royal Caribbean at the end of 2014, and it was great!!
