I was not really looking forward to it but there was so much to do on board that I was a bit blown away. With the scary slides, high ropes and walk the plank, crazy golf, ten pin bowling (mini version) and many other activities I found myself going to the gym before breakfast and then doing some of the many activities on offer. I loved the serenade back to the ship on the last day.

It is very easy to rack up huge bills though. I was jealous of the last minute bookers who not only got a cheap deal but they also got the drinks package thrown in - which will have made a huge difference. Between 8 of us (2 being only 7) we managed to rack up a $5000 bill. This did include massages, fine dining and some of the shows.

I was irritated that the policy of removing stiff from deckchairs after an hour was not kept to and when the sun was out there was no where to sit half the time!

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

The cabin was fine - plenty of storage space. It was quite noisy when something was going on up on deck 16 but earplugs worked well. The bathroom was well laid out and a good shower with plenty of hot water. I was pleased that I could charge my electric toothbrush with a european 2 pin plug!
