I am writing on my experience during my sailing on Quantum of the Seas on February 20th. I will break it down from the start to the finish of the cruise. First let me say that any bad reviews written about this ship in my belief come from people who are just not happy in life period. Don't come on board trying to throw your complaints around to people who are looking to have a good time. Life throws us curve balls and nothing in life is perfect.
Embarkation: Went very smoothly and staff were there waiting to help with their tablets. I found the process to be one of the easiest I have ever dealt with giving the condition to the weather being so cold. Hats off to the Porters who braved the cold to make sure our luggage came on board.
Room & Room Steward : I had a large interior state room with virtual balcony, which I found to be large enough with a lot of storage to hold (4) suitcase full of clothes. The decor was a step above any other ship I have traveled. I stayed in room 10229 and Valencio was my steward and he greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything every day. He even went out of his way to put pool towels in our room for us which I felt was giving us extra service. I hope that I spelled his name correctly and that Royal recognizes him for his exceptional service.
The room is spectacular!
