Specialty Restaurants.. Monitors placed at strategic places which indicate the availability of all the ship's restaurants. Based on information displayed, the most popular Specialty restaurants, in order of popularity, were: (1) Cagney's, (2) Tappanyaki , (3) Le Bistro, (4) Moderna Churrascaria. This ranking is also consistent with our personal experience. Other reviews provide a good description of the specifics.

The Orchid Garden food was good. The restaurant is located on an open balcony just above the Magenta Lounge. The music from the lounge was blasted at a volume above the threshold of pain, making dinner at this restaurant an unpleasant experience. We tried stuffing bits of napkins in our ears with minimum relief. We complained to the hostess, who graciously offered to see if the volume of the music could be turned down. It wasn't. We skipped dessert to get away from noise. Steer clear. Based on the restaurant availability (as shown on the monitors referred to above), the Orchid Garden was always available. The word apparently got around.

Lobster night at the Garden Cafe was a farce. A few bits of lobster meat were included in a noodle dish. Lobster shells were displayed. Don't know that they did with the rest of the lobster. Probably served at Cagney's or Le Bistro at additional cost. Read more
