Big ships can be fantastic when designed well, but the Epic is an Epic fail in this area.
We had 4300 cruisers, plus 1700 staff on board, and you could feel it. They offer only one central location for pools and hot tubs which is always so incredibly loud and packed because they have no other option available other than spending $200 PER PERSON for the spa package (which is also much higher than other fleets ~ we are use to paying $199-249 for a couple for a week). Overall Spa service prices seemed excessive comparatively.
Also, finding shade outside is a frustrating challenge as well, overall poor planning on design of ship.
Extremely small cabin that is pretty, but very odd in shape and comfort. Bath and shower opposite cabin door with frosted glass doors. Sink outside in cabin room poor lighting for getting ready and insufficient and inconvenient power plug location under desk making it hard to reach cords to mirror for hair styling. Extremely small TV with very limited viewing options.
