Sail Date: Feb 2015
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We sailed the Quantum to the Bahamas on 2/13 and despite a few glitches had a wonderful time.

We arrived at Cape Liberty at 10:30 am and had to wait in a rather long line of vehicles before our taxi finally reached the curb. They could do a lot to improve traffic flow into and out of the cruise terminal. We had printed out the luggage tags that were part of our online check in and fastened them on as best we could with tape before we left the airport in Newark. The porter who took our bags proceeded to attach the special RFID tags over the top of ours.

The check in process inside the terminal went pretty smooth after we flagged on of the roving attendants with an iPad. We them proceeded to get our welcome aboard photo taken inside the terminal and then proceeded to the line for the escalator where they took our photo for our SeaPass which was odd since we had done that at home as part of our online check in.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

We booked a balcony stateroom and loved the size and ample storage space. The shower and bathroom were great and the inclusion of a nightlight in the bathroom is much appreciated. Having two dedicated USB ports in the room for charging our devices. The ports didn’t quite have the amperage to charge my iPad, but did great with the phones and iPods. Our room steward did a great job.
