Hard to even know where to begin. Let's just say that I did read the awful reviews of this ship prior to sailing, but since I had a friend who has cruised on the Sensation before and it was coming off of a dry dock I figured we'd give her a shot. Big mistake! We were celebrating a friends 30th birthday and there were 10 of us in our party. We embark on Thursday the 26th of February to find the only pool and 1 of the 4 hot tubs out of service (for the entire day?). There was NO running water. Unable to wash your hands, shower, etc. There was also nothing to dribk (apart from the alcohol that they're really quick to charge you for). Once the water was finally restored sometime that night most people didn't have any hot water and lots of others complained of a sewage smell. Day 2 our toilets did not flush and there was a sewage smell up and down the hallways. Luckily this was our day at Port so we were off the ship for most of the day. Day 3 there was a TERRIBLE fuel smell to the point of dizziness. I was in line at Guest services and a lady there was complaining that her relative that was cruising woth her has a medical condition that was exacerbated by this smell and was told to just stay in her room. Really?!? I am not one to complain, but it was really overwhelming and present in much of the ship. Also when I awoke that morning I had only scalding hot water. I was unable to cool it down at all. And by the evening when I tried yet again for a shower there was no hot water. They just could not get it together. There was also a storm brewing, which I do realize is out of their control, bit thw ship was stationary in the middle of the ocean for a good part of the day. Maybe this was part of Carnival's master sailing plan but the boat was rocking HORRIBLY... People falling... I fwelas though if we were actually moving it may have counteracted the waves a bit. I don't know. What I do know is that I was just soooo very thankful to have made it off of this boat alive. My 1st and last time cruising with Carnival.

Room was as expected. No problems except for the plumbing and water issues as noted above. Although the carpet was pretty dirty. Something I truly expected to be replaced during the dry dock.
