We did not love our cruise. It had it's good things and not so good things. Check in was time consuming. Our bags did not show up for several hours to our stateroom. Once on the boat the waiting began. There were always bartenders working very hard but there are not enough of them. On a regular basis we waited to get a drink at a bar for 15 minutes. We never were waited on from a bartender. We stood in line at the pool with 12-20 people at a time. The excursions are over booked. They could be good but they need to adjust the amount of people on a catamaran and give people more time to go snorkeling and to a beach if they are offering an excursion that lasts 6 hours with something else. We had to check out our towels in a crowded hallway with about 200 people. They have not seen how other ships do this. Small issue but a big inconvenience. The sea trek lady on deck 11 should be fired. She was helping people get set up with getting scuba certified and instead of stepping to the side and letting us know their paper work etc would take an hour… she let us stand in line.. how awful.. we did venture down to the deck where there were about 5 or 6 people helping with excursions and types of service however that line was 30 deep with patrons waiting.. The elevators were always jam packed. The stateroom was nice. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Our guy Jose' was super who always stopped to greet us. The best part of this cruise was the night time dining. We had Marlon as our main waiter and Alejandro as the assistant waiter. Alejandro is definitely ready to be promoted to main waiter as he was outstanding! He really made us want to come back again. The shows were good also. The pool in the adult area was too cold to enter each day. There was never anyone waiting on us or picking up dishes in a timely fashion. Walking around the top deck on cruise day was a nightmare. Too many people with chairs everywhere and empty dishes and glasses all around. The food was very good especially at the night time dining. The check out process was very long. We had to stand outside for an hour in line of hundreds to get our bags. They could have had us in a smaller group so we did not have to stand in line when it was 49 degrees. There were many in line complaining and I felt sorry for the small children. I think this could be a better experience if they had more help and a few less people.

We also did attend the spa. Their door was shut so there were a few couples wondering if we were in the right area. The waiting room was too full. There was a small fridge that looked like there was water or champagne to have but no one instructed us. The massage itself was good. I did not like putting my face down into a closed towel area. Not sure why they do this .. The room felt like a procedure room for same day surgery rather than a relaxing place. No robes were provided and even though they encouraged us to drink water .. they never offered us any. I guess we expected more for the money considering we paid $450 for a couples massage. Not sure our next trip but not booking a cruise for some time. My sister and her husband was disappointed as well with this trip. They had sailed with Carnival at least twice and said the service was better.

Cabin D2

The room was nice. Not a problem being farther back in the ship. We liked our attendant and the room was great. The bed was comfortable.
